What is Individual Therapy?

These sessions are traditional psychotherapy sessions for adults seeking support with mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and more. I take a collaborative approach, working with you to identify your goals and develop a plan to help you move forward.

I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches—including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). For those who desire it, I also integrate Christian faith and values into the healing process. Whether you’re navigating emotional pain, spiritual questions, or sexual and relational challenges, therapy can be a place of healing and renewed hope.

Common areas I work with include:

  • Anxiety and stress

Learn practical tools to manage racing thoughts, overwhelm, and tension so you can feel more grounded and in control.

  • Depression and sadness

Explore the roots of your sadness and begin the journey toward hope, healing, and emotional renewal.

  • Parenting challenges

Receive support and strategies for navigating the unique stressors of parenting with clarity, grace, and confidence.

  • Sexual concerns (including desire differences, sex addiction, and pornography use)

Address sensitive topics with honesty and care, finding freedom and healing in areas often marked by shame or silence. See my Sex Therapy page for more info.

    Sex Therapy
  • Boundaries and relationships

Build healthier patterns in your relationships by learning to set boundaries, communicate clearly, and foster mutual respect.

  • Grief, trauma, or emotional pain

Process past wounds and present losses in a safe space where your story is honored and healing is possible.

Christian Sex Therapy

Sexual concerns can feel isolating, confusing, or even shameful—but they don’t have to be. I offer a compassionate, faith-informed space to explore issues like pornography use, sex addiction, low desire, or desire differences. Through evidence-based treatment and open, judgment-free conversation, we’ll work together to restore connection, confidence, and clarity in this important area of your life.
