For over two decades, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals and couples navigate challenges in their emotional, relational, and sexual lives. Now in my 26th year as a licensed clinician in private practice, I remain deeply passionate about supporting clients as they pursue greater wholeness, healing, and connection.

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts with a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Lesley University. I’m also a Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress through the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress and a Certified Sex Therapist through the American Board of Christian Sex Therapists. In addition, I am certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), the leading, evidence-based approach for people seeking support with emotional regulation, relationship challenges, stress, anxiety and addiction. The heart of my work is focused on Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).

I offer a warm, confidential space where you can feel safe to explore what’s holding you back and begin to experience meaningful change. Whether you’re facing anxiety, trauma, relationship stress, or issues related to intimacy and sexual health, I bring both professional expertise and genuine care to help you move forward with confidence.

I also stay committed to ongoing learning and collaboration with experts in the field to ensure that the care I provide is current, informed, and of the highest quality.

MY PHILOSOPHY

“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them."

I believe everyone can benefit from the support of counseling—especially during life’s most difficult seasons. As a Christian and a mental health professional, I see therapy as a place where clinical excellence and spiritual insight can work together to bring lasting healing.

I take a collaborative approach, working with you to identify your goals and create a plan to help you move forward. My work integrates evidence-based modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). For those who desire it, I also incorporate faith and biblical values to support the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.

Whether you’re seeking support as an individual, a couple, or a member of a faith community, I am here to walk with you with compassion, professionalism, and hope.

FAQs:

  • What types of clients do you work with?

I work with adult individuals, couples, and sometimes families, navigating challenges in their emotional, relational, and spiritual lives. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, Christian sex therapy, and affair recovery. I also provide consultations for therapists, parents, and church leaders facing complex or “stuck” situations.

  • Do you offer telehealth sessions?

Yes. All sessions are currently offered through secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth. You can receive support from the comfort and privacy of your home.

  • What issues do you work with in couples therapy?

I support couples with premarital counseling, communication training, conflict resolution, affair recovery, parenting alignment, and sex therapy. Whether you’re preparing for marriage, working through a crisis, or just wanting a stronger connection, couples therapy can be a place of renewal and growth.

  • Do you only work with Christian clients?

No, I don't only work with Christians. I work with those from all backgrounds—regardless of faith or spiritual beliefs. While my approach is informed by Christian values, I always tailor therapy to each individual’s unique needs and preferences. Whether you share my faith or not, you are welcome here, and I’m committed to creating a respectful, nonjudgmental space for healing and growth.

  • Why might someone choose to pay privately instead of using insurance?

    Private pay offers several advantages:

     • Greater privacy (no diagnosis required for reimbursement)

     • More freedom in choosing a therapist who fits your needs and values

     • Reduced administrative burden and increased focus on your goals

     • Avoiding long-term diagnoses in your or your child’s medical record

Visit my Insurance vs. Private Pay section for a deeper dive into this decision.

  • How do I know if therapy is right for me?

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward, therapy can help. Whether you’re facing emotional pain, relational stress, or questions of faith and identity, you’re not alone—and support is available. The first step is reaching out.
